Law Enforcement Records
The Calumet County Sheriff's Office Records Division handles all reports related to crimes that were written by Calumet County Sheriff deputies. They also ensure that the reports are routed to the proper Calumet County departments for further action. The staff of four full-time employees also handles record requests on behalf of the Sheriff, who is the legal custodian of law enforcement records.
Crash/Accident Reports:
The Calumet County Sheriff's Office no longer maintains a database of State of Wisconsin DT4000 crash (accident) reports and no longer provides copies of completed State crash/accident report forms to requestors.
To obtain a copy of a crash/accident report, please contact the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Crash/Accident Records Unit, where you may request a copy by phone or through the website listed below. All DT4000 crash reports completed by the Calumet County Sheriff's Office will be available from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Crash/Accident Records Unit when they are complete, which is generally 10-15 business days after the crash/accident.
