Calumet County Public Health has been developing and sharing a COVID-19 Data Dashboard since March 2020. Since the time the pandemic began, new tools have become available to limit the effects of COVID-19 on communities and healthcare systems.
As a result, the goals of the COVID-19 pandemic response have shifted from preventing all transmission of SARS-CoV-2 to preventing severe illness, hospitalization and death. The CDC COVID-19 Community Levels can help communities and individuals make decisions based on their local context and needs. Additionally, Wisconsin Department of Health Services supports the use of the CDC COVID-19 Community Levels to monitor the impact of COVID-19 in our communities. As such, local COVID-19 Data Dashboards are being discontinued and replaced with the CDC COVID-19 Level Information by County. This change in guidance and communications aligns with other public health agencies in the Northeast Wisconsin and Fox Valley region.
